NAFLON™ SLIDING PAD

Various slide bearing pads (sliding pads) are used to absorb the expansion and contraction that occurs in structures such as bridges or corridors between buildings.
NAFLON™ Sliding Pad, which uses filler-filled fluororesin (PTFE), is superior to conventional rubber pads, metal plates, roller bearings, etc. in many aspects such as low friction, high weather resistance and chemical resistance.

This is a hard friction material made primarily from fibers (organic fibers, inorganic fibers, etc.), to which binders (synthetic resins, etc.) and fillers are added, then molded under pressure and heat.
Since it is molded in a metal mold, it can be made into a variety of shapes.
It is an "industrial friction material" used for "brake linings, clutch linings, and clutch facings."

NA BELLOW-Q™

TOMBO™ No. 9999-NA

NA BELLOW-Q is a non-metallic flexible expansion joint that combines inorganic fiber cloth and PTFE and is used for various pipes and smoke airways such as ducts. It absorbs expansion and contraction, deformation, and movement from the heat swelling, vibrations, and pressure of large-diameter ducts and pipes.

NAFLON™ PTFE SINK

TOMBO™ No. 9500-M/-H

There are two types of NAFLON PTFE SINK: a seamless “one-piece molded square sink (TOMBO No.9500-M)” manufactured by hydraulic forming and a “welded type square sink (TOMBO No.9500-H)” that is made by welding an 8 to 25 mm sheet. Both can be manufactured with optional drainage slopes and drain holes on the bottom. The welded type, in particular, can be manufactured into shapes to suit your application without any need for a mold.

EXCELIDE™

It is a sliding material with improved mechanical attributes such as wear resistance and creep resistance achieved by adding various filler materials to high-performance resins (PTFE, PPS) that have excellent heat resistance and low wear resistance properties.

Cold insulation work for LNG carriers

LNG (liquefied natural gas) vessels, which are used to transport LNG to consumer destinations, require advanced heat-protection performance and strength.
Nichias supplies its customers by acquiring certification from a ship classification society for its various thermal insulating materials for LNG carriers, which include its environment-friendly, CFC-free glass fiber reinforced urethane foam that satisfies these performance requirements. Nichias also carries out the installation work of these materials to guarantee installation is done correctly.
