Heat insulation materials that are used outdoors such as at various plants and power stations suffer problems where pipes corrode or the heat insulation functionality declines due to the ingress of rainwater into the seams of the outer material. Nichias has developed its innovative Overwrapping Insulation Method that restores heat insulation functionality to solve such issues. By restoring/improving the heat insulation functionality without removing the existing heat insulation material, it helps save energy and reduce waste.

It restores the heat insulation material functionality that is lost due to the ingress of rainwater.

The water repellency of Pyrogel XTE puts a stop to rainwater ingress, which is the main cause of corrosion under insulation (CUI).

it can be installed without removing the existing heat insulation material, and so it curbs industrial waste.
● With no removal costs, it reduces time spent on labor and significantly reduces the cost of repairs.
