Providing Safe and Reliable Products
Quality Initiatives to Earn Customer Trust
To continuously provide products that its customers can use safely and with peace of mind, NICHIAS Corporation has systems to review each stage of the production process from planning and designing products right up to their disposal.
The Development, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Products Sales, Quality Assurance, and Environment departments combine their various expertise and thoroughly review product quality, safety, and reliability, as well as the appropriateness of the production process.
Quality Management System
The NICHIAS Group has created its own quality management system that combines ISO 9001 with its own unique system cultivated over its 120-year-plus history, and promotes quality assurance activities for a wide range of projects and diverse product groups. The acquisition of ISO 9001 certification is promoted at all factories, and many of NICHIAS’ factories and subsidiaries currently have these certificates both in Japan and abroad. Also, officially approved products have a dedicated system that manages their compatibility.
Stable Distribution of Products & Services
The NICHIAS Group provides products and services that are indispensable for a wide range of industries, so BCP measures are an extremely important management issue to ensure that business activities are continuous without product and service supplies becoming interrupted.
NICHIAS endeavors to secure product and service supplies by assessing, for example, the degree of impact on customers from the interruption of product supplies caused by the Covid-19 pandemic or a natural disaster; the degree of importance of products in the market; and the possibility of replacements even with different companies’ products. It is also very important to ensure the safety of employees, who are the key supporters of NICHIAS’ corporate activities. The NICHIAS Group formulates and implements BCP measures on the basis of these two key points.
