SGM GASKET

TOMBO™ No. 9096-SGM

SGM Gasket is a PTFE soft type gasket made of high-strength expanded PTFE.
As it is soft and has excellent adaptability, it can easily seal slightly uneven surfaces.
It can be used for almost all fluids that do not corrode PTFE.
It can also be used as an electrical insulation gasket.

ENVELOPE GASKET

TOMBO™ No. 9010series

A PTFE-wrapped gasket that is made by covering the core material such as a joint sheet with a PTFE outer skin.
The sealed surface is completely covered in a PTFE membrane. It has excellent anti-staining properties and chemical resistance, and therefore it is used for a broad range of applications including fine chemicals, petrochemicals, the pharmaceutical and food industry, and general manufacturing.

NICHIAS SOFT SEAL

TOMBO™ No. 9096

It is a soft gasket made of PTFE.
It is extremely soft, and the model with adhesive tape can easily be installed on sealed surfaces of complex shapes.
It is used for the likes of pipe sealant, tanks, casing, pressure containers, stress tanks, lining equipment, and large-diameter equipment.

VORTEX™ GASKET

TOMBO™ No. 9090

Because it uses PTFE with excellent chemical resistance as a filler, it can be used for almost all fluids if you choose an appropriate hoop material.
It is one of the best VORTEX gaskets in terms of sealing performance, and it can also be used for vacuum applications.
It is used for pipe flanges, pressure containers, heat exchanges, and valve bonnets from various industries. It is suitable for sealing against corrosive fluids and oxygen that other VORTEX products cannot be used for, parts that especially require airtightness, and vacuum sealing.
For applications using pure liquid oxygen, Nichias also offers an OX type that removes PTFE oil components.

METAL O-SEAL

TOMBO™ No. 9200P

A gasket made by molding thin metal piping into the shape of an O-ring, welding it at the ends, and then subjecting the surface to ultra-precision finishing. This gasket provides a very reliable, top-class seal across a wide range of conditions from high temperatures to low temperatures and high pressure to vacuum states.
It is used by fitting it onto the grooves and fully clamping it to enable a high-pressure seal with little clamping force.
If the internal pressure is 7 MPa or more, please use TOMBO No.9200V (model with holes).
In the case of gaseous fluids, vacuumed fluids, and highly volatile fluids, Nichias recommends its PTFE coating or silver plating specifications.
It is used for various applications such as valve bonnets, high-pressure container flanges, equipment joints, pipe flanges, plastic processing machinery, rubber extruders, hydraulic equipment, air pressure equipment, vacuum equipment, nuclear vessels, aircraft engines, rocket engines, and automobile engines.

NA MANHOLE GASKET

TOMBO™ No. 1374/13781420-ST/-S/-TH/1400-NA9094

An endless gasket in which woven fabric is coated in a rubber compound and sewn together into various manhole shapes. This gasket has insufficient airtightness, so use it only for parts where some slight leakage is permitted.
It is best suited for applications in which the flange diameter is large, there is distortion, or a high clamping surface pressure will not occur.

NAFLON™ MANHOLE GASKET

It is a manhole gasket made by using PTFE dispersion for the joint material.
It is used for ducts that require chemical resistance and solvent resistance and corrosive gases such as acidic exhaust gas.
